Inhibitory effect on the replication of Borna disease virus
Inhibitory effect on the replication of Borna disease virus

Exploratory Research

Measured value Ratio to control (%)
Animal species Others
Indication of the result The ratio (%) of the amount of Borna disease virus (BDV) under test drug treatment to that for the control condition with water is shown. Values less than 100 indicate the inhibition of BDV replication.
Target diseases of assay Infective disease
Assay level Cell-based
Protocol of assay 1) rBDV-Gluc-infected cells were cultured with test drug for 72 h at 37 °C. 2) 5 μl of sample from the cells was mixed with 5 μl of assay buffer in a 96-well plate according to the NEB protocol. 3) The amount of Borna disease virus was measured by the fluorescence intensity.
