Pharmacological effects Diuresis, decrease in the blood pressure, antibacterial (Staphylococcus aureus, cutaneous fungus), antihistamine, antiacetylcholine, suppression of automatic movement of small intestine.
Indications As a tonic and astringent, it is applied to strengthen kidney and used in the treatment of night sweat, frequent urination, pain in the lower back and knee, and interminal menstruation.
